The company is a Spain-based firm engaged in the construction, operation, conservation and maintenance of the toll motorway from Fene on the outskirts of Ferrol to Tui on the Portuguese Border. The company started its operation in 1973 and has its registered head office located in La Coruna. It has 444 passages through freeway, 65 bridges and viaducts, six double tunnels and one single. The company is globally owned and controlled by Sacyr Vallehermoso, S.A., a Spain-based group, engaged in the construction, concessions, real estate development, and property management and services areas.
